(Journal 5) The 4 man thinggy architecture.

I guess everyone has their own concept or idea what particular architecture it is or what does it stands for. The first time i look at the architecture is no more then 4 dudes pushing against a wall or fence. But we have to look deeper to understand what the architecture means or the message that it is trying to tell us.

After taking sometime to figure out what it stands for. I guess the message that the architecture is portraying might be we humans have to work together in order to get things done? or we need to work together in order to achieve our goals. Well, the way i see it, there is a fence in a middle. Each side of the fence there are 2 human figures. On one side, one of the figure is trying to push the fence while another figure, well to me seem to be leaning against the fence as though as he doesn't not really care, or not putting effort so to speak. On the other side, one of the figure is trying his best to push the fence and the other figure is also trying to push the fence.

Therefore, i came to the conclusion that the architecture is trying to say that in order to achieve something, individual or in a group, we need to put in the same amount of effort to achieve our goals. In this case that is pushing the fence, you could see that some of the figures are trying very hard and the one leaning against the wall isn't showing the same amount of effort as the others. We cannot just count on one or two to guide us to what we have aimed to achieve, everyone has to contribute in order to make it a success. Well, another part is that we could see 2 figures on each side of the wall trying to push down the fence. But as we can see their effort is going no where as we can see the fence is still up there. I guess that also in order to achieve something, we should work together in the same direction and not against one another. If there is a fence in the middle and on each side there are people trying to push it down, their effort would become effortless because as someone is trying to push it on one side, there is someone else in the other side trying to stop you. Therefore, i would say that we need to come together and have an agreement in order to sort things out so that we all could move in the same direction to achieve and do what is best for all.

So that's practically what i think of the 4 man thinggy architecture.

  1. I like your interpretation. It was much more positive than mine. :)
